The momentum for STEM education is increasing! Will you be a part of the movement? If so, we'd like to invite you to be a part of our team.

Are you a great instructor/mentor?
Are you a software/game developer?
Do you love working with youth in DC?
Are you ready to help make a huge contribution to the future of STEM education?
Are you interested in making new learning technologies?
Are you interested in helping Uplift in other meaningful ways?
Would you like to learn and grow with us in any of these areas?

If you've answered yes to any of the above questions, we are looking for volunteers (based on your schedule), a few instructors, and some web and development interns this fall to help with our robotics and computer programming classes as well as with our new website and interactive mobile and web projects.

If you are interested in being an instructor, we will teach you everything you need to know. You just need to bring an impeccable work ethic and an amazing sense of responsibility and accountability. We have classes after-school during the week and on Saturdays.

If you are interested in being an intern, we have some amazing projects to which you can contribute your skills and talents. You can help build and maintain several project websites, learning technology, and more.

You can also express interest in doing both!

The time frame is from September 10th until December 15th - with some flexibility. We will entertain longer, if you are interested!

If you want to help us increase the number of minorities interested in STEM but only have time here and there to contribute, please be a volunteer. We can certainly use your help!

Over the next several months, we will work with students between the ages of 5-17 and will host classes in the areas listed below.  We will also complete software and game products focused on learning. If you can lend your time (days, evenings, and/or weekends), knowledge, skills, and expertise to help, please submit the form below immediately.

While Uplift's mission involves STEM education, we also promote positive youth development and a healthy sense of well-being. If the above classes are not suitable, but you still want to help with our students, we are more than willing to help find a perfect fit for you.
